The story of the Wolf Knight begins in the haunted forests of Terrabore. He knows not how he arrived there. All memories stricken from his mind. Beside him lay his two companions: a splintered shield and broken sword. Something cold and biting scratches at the knight's pauldron. He lunges to his feet. From within the dark and misted veil of trees, an ear-piercing shriek resounds. The terrifying sound forces the knight to flee. In his terror, he grabs his sword, forsaking his shield to the underbrush.
Beyond the trees the knight finds a road. He follows it for what seems like hours. Fatigue brings the knight to rest. His battered armor heavy and his helmet stifling. The knight waits beneath an oak tree. The lands around him strange and unknown to him.
An old farmer riding atop a cart hauled by two enormous beasts notices the exhausted knight. "Do you need some help?" the man asks.
The knight nods his weary head. All muscles in his body have tightened and ache terribly. The knight climbs onto the cart. He must find his way home.
But where is home and in what strange land has he found himself in?
